Love, the cakes it's so beautiful, I highly reccomend this place for birthday parties, and Holidays! It's one of the best bakeries I've ever been to.
Recommended by neighbours.... Very good selection of baked goods. Wonderfully decorated cookies and cake.. the Boston cream has more cream than dough .. usually it's the other way round. it'll go really well with tea. This is the first place I saw with Banana cream pie that is readily available and in single serving portion.. will try it for dessert.. They have tres lech... Will be coming back to try them!! Cakes are all very well decorated... Will try it for the next birthday.
An update to my previous review of Schlegl's Bakery. I ordered a cake from here for my 50th birthday party and I couldn't have been happier. I loved, how my cake turned out. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. I worked with Sue and she was so helpful and professional. She understood what I wanted and worked with the bakers to bring it about. The finished product was fabulous and my guests really enjoyed the cake. They said it was not only beautiful but delicious as well! I will use Schlegl's again for sure. Great! Great selection of donuts and at nearly 5 pm on a Saturday, they were still fresh. Decent coffee too.
Loved the way they decorated my son’s Minecraft cake. They designed it just the way I wanted, and it also tasted great! Love their chocolate mousse and strawberry filling. I will be ordering more cakes from here.
Ordered a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting for my granddaughter’s 5th birthday and picked up some adorable cookies with milk chocolate frosting. The cake and cookies were a big hit! Everyone said it was the best cake they have had. Thank you for making the celebration special!
Mom and Pop style bakery with a variety of sweet and savory goodies. We tried their cookie assortment, some cheese bagels as well as a Neopolitan and Bee Sting. All were delicious and ver more-ish. What i also enjoyed was both the service - super efficient and friendly as well as the chatter in the queue between people waiting. It made the time pass faster. We will definitely go back - this is an absolute gem of a bakery.
Such a fun place! I like coming in the Spring especially when they have Hamentaschen and bunny cakes. The cookies are always wonderful. For the small ones you pay by the pound so you can mix and match. The cakes are really great too, you can preorder a specially decorated one for birthdays, etc.

Fantastic cake donuts and danishes! Schlegl's is a treasure. If you are in need of a morning (or afternoon) treat, go there! It's much better than a national chain or a supermarket! (I liked Dominick's cake donuts too, but Shlegl's's are bigger and better!) I only wish I lived closer....
